Welcome to Dinner Dates (the “Platform”). Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Short version: Male Dates pay a site subscription to keep their profiles live on the Platform. All booking payments between Clients and Male Dates happen directly between those parties (off-platform). We don’t process or facilitate booking payments.

1) What we collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Client enquiries: name, email, message (and anti-spam answers) when you contact us.
• Male Date registration & profile: email, password, display/working name, city/county, date of birth (21+), profile photo(s), interests, bio, and other profile content you add.
• Subscription & billing (Male Dates only): when you purchase or renew a site subscription to keep your profile live, your payment is handled by our payment processor, Stripe.com. We receive limited billing metadata (e.g., transaction ID, status) but do not store full card details.
• Reviews, messages and other content you submit on the Platform.

1.2 Information we collect automatically

• Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, pages visited, timestamps.
• Cookies & similar tech: to keep you logged in, secure the site, and improve performance. (See Cookies.)

1.3 What we don’t collect/process

• Client↔Male Date booking payments: We do not process or facilitate payments for dates. Those arrangements are agreed directly between the Client and the Male Date, off-platform.

Important: The Platform promotes non-sexual companionship only. Activities outside that scope are prohibited.

3) Age requirement

You must be 21+ to register or use the Platform. We may request information to verify eligibility.

4) Payments

• Male Date subscriptions: Processed by third-party payment processor(s), Stripe.com. Card details are submitted directly to the processor; we don’t store full card numbers. We receive basic transaction info to activate/maintain your subscription and for records.
• Client bookings: Any fees for dates are agreed and settled directly between the Client and the Male Date, off-platform. We do not process or facilitate these payments.

5) Sharing your data

We only share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the Platform, under contracts that protect your rights:

• Hosting & infrastructure, security and anti-abuse tools

• Payment processor(s), Stripe.com (Male Date subscriptions)

• Email delivery and support tools

• Performance/analytics (if used)

We may share information if required to comply with law or to protect rights, safety, and security. We do not sell your personal data.

6) International transfers

If any provider stores data outside the UK, we rely on lawful safeguards (e.g., UK adequacy regulations, Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent mechanisms).

7) How long we keep data

• Accounts & profiles: while your account remains active.

• Subscription/billing records (Male Dates): retained for the period required by tax/audit law (typically up to 6 years in the UK).

• Support enquiries: up to 24 months after resolution.

• Logs/backups: for short, defined periods needed for security and continuity.

We may keep minimal data where necessary for legal obligations or dispute resolution.

8) Your rights (UK GDPR)

You can access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your data; request portability where applicable; and withdraw consent where we rely on consent.

9) Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (access controls, least-privilege, encryption where appropriate). No online service is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risks and respond quickly to issues.

10) Roles & responsibilities off-platform

Outside the Platform (e.g., messages arranged off-site, contact lists, Client billing handled directly), Male Dates act as independent data controllers for their own processing. They must meet their own UK-GDPR obligations (lawful basis, transparency, security). The Platform isn’t a party to off-platform financial arrangements.

We use essential cookies (e.g., session/login, security). We may also use functional or performance cookies to improve your experience. You can control cookies in your browser settings. If we introduce analytics or any non-essential cookies that require consent, we’ll update this notice and obtain consent where needed.
